Position location is subject to change based on central MD client's needs.Required: TS/SCI with a PolygraphDescription:Will be an integral member of the DNS, DHCP, IPAM (DDI) Operations Team and will be responsible for the IP Address Management process. Responsible for the automation of requirements management, change management, requirements gathering/tracking, and configuration management. Projects require automated solutions to effectively manage the requirements, link source documents, and architectures. The Tools Engineer shall work with teams to identify, engineer, and implement the most optimum automated solution that follows approved processes for a given project or infrastructure. In addition, Tools Engineers shall work with all other infrastructure support teams as other teams as part of a solution to identify, engineer, and implement solutions that integrate with the automation/infrastructure/productivity tools.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Design and implement secure and scalable DNS, DHCP, and IPAM (DDI) solutions using Infoblox DDI.Troubleshoot and resolve complex DDI issuesAutomate DDI workflows to improve efficiencyProvide technical expertise and guidance to internal teams on all aspects of DDI, including IPv4 and IPv6Knowledge of IPv4 and IPv6Maintain the latest Infoblox DDI features and best practices Individual Capabilities/Experience Required:Fourteen (14) years combined experience as a software engineer, system engineer, system administrator or configuration management engineer. Eight (8) years experience as a Tools Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required. Bachelor's degree in a technical or business discipline from an accredited institution is required. Four (4) years of additional experience as a software engineer, system engineer, system administrator , or configuration management experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.DOD8570-M, IAT Level 1Experience with DNS, DHCP, IPAM, Load Balancing (F5/DTC)Familiar with outages, latency issues, & trouble shootingProven experience designing and implementing DDI solutionsExperience with load balancing technologiesStrong understanding of networking concepts, including IPv4 and IPv6Excellent problem-solving and analytical skillsExperience with scripting (Perl, Python) and automation tools (Ansible)a plus Individual Capabilities/Experience Desired: DNS experience with an understanding of administration of InfobloxExperience with Infoblox trouble ticketsIn-depth knowledge of Infoblox DDI (DNS, DHCP, IPAM) We have all the PERKS!
