Overview:Job DescriptionJob Title: Validation & Production (RWA C&I)Location : Bangalore, Chennai, Gurgaon (GGN)Experience7 - 15 years of relevant experience in Risk, Regulatory Change, or Banking TransformationRole OverviewThe role supports Basel 3.1 (B3.1) initiatives for Risk-Weighted Assets (RWA) - Corporate & Institutional (C&I) portfolios. The incumbent will be responsible for validation, testing, parallel runs, and production Dress Rehearsals (DRs) to ensure regulatory compliance, accuracy of outputs, and robust control frameworks.The role requires close collaboration with Design, Reporting, BAU, and Change teams across the end-to-end delivery lifecycle.Key ResponsibilitiesValidation & TestingExecute validation activities for Basel 3.1 RWA C&I initiatives, including testing, parallel runs, and DRs.Coordinate with implementation analysts to plan and complete validation execution.Validate design and solution outputs to ensure alignment with Basel 3.1 regulatory requirements. Dress Rehearsals & Production RunsPartner with Reporting teams to run Basel 3.1 Dress Rehearsals (DRs) and parallel production runs.Review and validate RWA outputs for accuracy, consistency, and completeness across DR cycles.Maintain and publish validation, DR, and parallel run status reports. Regulatory & ControlsWork with BAU and Change teams to establish, document, and enhance controls across existing and Basel 3.1 processes.Contribute to Basel 3.1 regulatory requirements, system enhancements, and output specifications.Support audit, governance, and regulatory review activities as required. Design & Change DeliveryCollaborate with Design teams to review and validate functional and technical solutions.Support optimal solution design through engagement with business, risk, and technology stakeholders.Ensure preparation and maintenance of key documentation, including:Functional Design DocumentsL2 Solution DesignsTechnical Design DocumentsParticipate in Change Delivery lifecycle phases such as requirement reviews, design solutioning, and implementation readiness. Stakeholder ManagementEngage with stakeholders to ensure clear understanding of design, functionality, and regulatory impacts.Provide regular updates on progress, risks, and dependencies. Mandatory Skills & ExperienceStrong experience in Basel regulations, preferably Basel 3 / Basel 3.1Hands-on experience with RWA calculations, ideally within Corporate & Institutional (C&I) portfoliosProven experience in validation, testing, and production/parallel runsGood understanding of regulatory reporting, controls, and governance frameworksExperience working in cross-functional teams (Design, Reporting, BAU, Change)Strong documentation and stakeholder communication skills Preferred SkillsExperience in large-scale regulatory transformation programsExposure to risk systems, data lineage, and reporting platformsBanking or financial services background Key CompetenciesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAttention to detail and control mindsetAbility to work in complex regulatory environmentsEffective stakeholder management and communication
