Lodging, car rentals, and airfare will be provided for travel. Per Diem rates vary based on location of travel.Job DescriptionProvide field engineering and technical support services to maintain and sustain fielded physical security systems at designate locationsProvide design, installation, troubleshooting, logistics and repair of shore based electronic security systemsProvide feedback to program leadership regarding system performance and end-user feedbackPerform operator and maintainer tasks on equipment, integrated systems, subsystems, and softwareInstall, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot electronic security systems and physical security systemsPerform troubleshooting, fault isolation, and repair to the Line-Replaceable Unit (LRU) level before escalating to higher-level maintenanceAssist with packaging and Return Material Authorization processes for non-mission capable systems or equipment to higher-level maintenance facilitiesFacilitate weekly site status meetings with Field Service Engineers (FSEs), Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), and customers to report on system performance and provide updatesConduct parts replacements, system upgrades, and deployments using diagnostic tools and technical expertiseTypical systems include access control and intrusion detection systems that operate from and are compatible with the infrastructure at each locationManaging Bosch Alarm systems and programming new systems using RPSQualificationsEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEBachelor’s and five (2) years or more experience. Additional years of experience accepted in lieu of degreeTwo (2) to five (5) years of experience in related military security systems maintenance and inspectionCLEARANCEU.S. CITIZENSHIP REQUIREDMust be able to obtain a Full DOD Secret Clearance. SAIC will sponsor qualified candidates for a security clearance. Able to start once interim Secret clearance is grantedDesired SkillsMicrosoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word), Adobe Pro for Blueprint drawingsFamiliarity with personal computers, switches, routers, Internet Protocol (IP) addressing, network topologies, and troubleshooting proceduresExperience in the operation and maintenance of Honeywell NVR/IR camera systems
