Success will be measured by the incumbent’s effective and efficient management of cost, quality, and timely completion of projects.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nTECHNICAL:\n\nBending and threading EMT, Rigid, and PVC-coated conduit.\n\nInstalling switchgear, MCCs, and panels.\n\nTerminating power and control wiring neatly and accurately.\n\nMust have a strong working knowledge of:\n\nPower and control from 24vdc to 480vac.\n\nTroubleshooting complex control circuits from Motor to PLC I/O.\n\nUse of DMM, Megger, Circuit Tracer, and other necessary test equipment.\n\nAbility to read and understand Plans, Specifications, Maintenance Manuals, Calibration Procedures, and Electrical Schematics.\n\nN.E.C.\n\nSAFETY: Ensure that all subordinates adhere to all safety requirements of the task and conditions.\n\nMANAGEMENT:\n\nEnsure that jobs are completed on budget.\n\nEnsure that jobs are completed on time.\n\nEnsure that direct reports are on task.\n\nEnsure that jobs are completed with top quality.\n\nQualifications\n\nMust be a “California State Certified Electrician”\n\nMust have a minimum of six (6) years in the industrial electrical trade.\n\nKnowledge of the practical application of industrial electrical construction.\n\nExcellent communication skills (written and verbal).\n\nProfessional appearance.\n\nClean DMV record.\n\nPhysical Demands\nThe physical demands for a Foreman Electrician described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
