STRUCTURAL TECHNOLOGIES is the in-house engineering business line of Structural Group.\r\nWe are currently hiring a Warehouse Technician for the warehouse located in Columbia, Maryland. As a Warehouse Technician for Structural Technologies' \"Research, Development and Support Team\", you will be accountable for providing warehouse support, which could include inventory checks, equipment repairs and maintenance, invoice preparation and parts ordering.\r\nThe successful candidate will also be responsible for:\r\nReceiving and inspection of incoming shipments for accuracy and damage\r\nPick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment\r\nLoad and unload trucks safely and efficiently\r\nOrganize inventory and maintain accurate stock records\r\nOperate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, pallet wrappers, etc.\r\nMaintain a clean and safe work environment\r\nAssist with inventory counts and warehouse organization\r\nFollow all safety procedures and company policies\r\nAll other duties as assigned\r\nCandidates who meet the following criteria may be considered for this position:\r\nHighschool diploma or vocational degree\r\nBasic mechanical knowledge and ability to troubleshoot.\r\n3+ years of experience in a warehouse, shop, plant environment\r\nMaintenance and servicing equipment on project sites\r\nSupporting project site utilizing specialized equipment\r\nProficiency with Microsoft Office products preferred\r\nForklift experience preferred\r\nSkid steer and electrical knowledge preferred\r\nOSHA certifications preferred\r\nPrior experience with shipping and packaging hazardous materials preferred\r\nUp to 10% of travel may be required for this position\r\nOur ideal candidate is solution-oriented and can work effectively in a highly collaborative, team-based environment; is approachable, empathetic and outgoing; can quickly gain trust and respect; and is able to establish and maintain relationships.
