We are in a unique phase of growth and looking for a ROCKSTAR CNC Programmer to join our team in creating a legacy of excellence.\n\nApply now and take the first step towards a fulfilling career with Space Screw Inc!\nCNC Programmer Job Functions:\nDetermines methods, cutter types and cutting parameters depending on a variety of materials (TI, brass, steel, aluminum, etc.) and design specifications.\nDesigns 3-D computer models, drawings and specifications for fabrication of fixturing elements\nCreates 3-5 axis tool paths utilizing Fusion360/Feature CAM.\nWorks with QC department on planning of manufacturing process to ensure quality and design objectives are achieved.\nCreates shop documentation for setup of the machines.\nWorks with the machinists to make sure setup and machining procedures are followed\nReads and understands engineering drawings, geometric dimensioning & tolerancing, and work orders\nUse GD&T knowledge to read and understand blueprints and measure parts\nAccurate use of precision measuring instruments (ie: micrometers, calipers, etc,) and working to tight tolerances\nUse Lean Manufacturing knowledge, principles, and tools for continuous improvement\nVisually inspect and deburr parts. Attention to detail and quality is required\nClean and maintain machines, equipment, tools and work area. Performs other duties as assigned.\nWorks in conjunction with QC in meeting customer and facility quality standards.\nBehavior: Programmer must work well under pressure, meeting and completing multiple deadlines. Programmer shall, at all times, demonstrate cooperative behavior with colleagues and supervisors.\nRequired Skills and Qualifications:\nHigh school diploma or GED required. College level or trade school education preferred. (8-10 years of experience may be substituted for education)\nProficient with Fusion360, Feature CAM (10+ years experience preferred)\nProgramming/set-up/operation of Haas CNC multi-axis milling and multi-axis turning machines.\nExperience with 3-5 axis machine tools.
