Electrician

Overview We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team, supporting various construction and industrial projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong electrical expertise, including experience with low and high voltage systems, blueprint reading, and schematics interpretation. This role involves working on construction sites and industrial facilities, ensuring electrical systems are installed, maintained, and repaired according to safety standards and electrical codes. Candidates with experience in commercial and industrial electrical work, as well as familiarity with NEC regulations, will thrive in this position. Responsibilities Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to execute wiring and installation tasks accurately Use hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers, and power tools to complete electrical work efficiently Measure electrical parameters using instruments like ohmmeters and ammeters to diagnose issues Work with low voltage and high voltage systems while adhering to safety protocols and NEC standards Assist in the installation of conduit, wiring, panels, and other electrical components on construction sites Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to ensure compliance with safety regulations Collaborate with construction teams including frame carpenters and other trades to coordinate project tasks Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety at all times Requirements Proven experience as an Electrician in industrial or commercial settings Strong knowledge of electrical codes such as NEC regulations Proficiency in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and schematic diagrams Experience working on construction sites with exposure to framing carpentry is a plus Ability to work safely with low voltage and high voltage electrical systems Skilled in the use of hand tools (e.g., screwdrivers, wire strippers) and power tools for electrical installations Familiarity with testing instruments such as ohmmeters and ammeters for diagnostics Construction site experience preferred; ability to work in physically demanding environments Valid electrician license or certification is highly desirable Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail and safety compliance Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.00 - $40.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Work Location: On the road
