Consider the Language Analysis Development Program for an intensive, accelerated learning path, or a direct hire role for immediate contribution.\n\nQualifications\nMinimum qualifications are:\n\nDegree in any field (associate, bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral).\n\nRelevant experience in translation, transcription, teaching, or analysis, or in STEM fields, law, journalism, or intelligence studies.\n\nInteragency Language Roundtable (ILR) level 2/2 proficiency in reading and listening for Chinese.\n\nEntry/Developmental: high school diploma or GED + 4 years of relevant experience, or associate’s + 2 years, or bachelor’s + none.\n\nFull Performance: high school diploma or GED + 7 years of experience, or associate’s + 5 years, bachelor’s + 3 years, master’s + 1 year, or doctoral + none.\n\nSenior: high school diploma or GED + 10 years of experience, or associate’s + 8 years, bachelor’s + 6 years, master’s + 4 years, or doctoral + 2 years.\n\nCompetencies\n\nProficient in reading and listening to Chinese.\n\nStrong written and oral communication skills.\n\nOrganized, able to handle multiple assignments.\n\nAnalytical thinking and problem‑solving abilities.\n\nExperience or knowledge in target development, social network analysis, metadata analysis, research methodology, regional studies, quantitative/statistical analysis, data modeling, cyber security, computer science, or networking.\n\nPrevious military service with language analysis experience considered.\n\nPay, Benefits, & Work Schedule\nSalaries range from $50,460 to $187,093 depending on education level and experience.
