This role oversees dailytechnology operations, guides the adoption of new platforms andtechniques, and ensures service-level commitments are consistently met.It also directs disaster recovery planning, manages budgets andprocurement, and maintains key vendor relationships. By integrating andcoordinating core computing functions, the Manager supports reliable,efficient, and forward-looking technology services that advancecorporate objectives.\"This position is eligible to work hybrid or onsite in accordance withour Telecommuting Policy. Applicants must reside in Kansas or Missourior be willing to relocate as a condition of employment.\"**What you\'ll do** Selects and manages the staff and resources for Mainframe,Distributed Computing and Network/Telephony Teams. This includesoversight of technical staff across three teams, and the research,evaluations, recommendations, acquisition and implementation ofsolutions across our Infrastructure framework. Development and management of the annual budget. Leads strategic planning for the area and participates in developinglong-range technology architecture and strategy as it is applied toall phases of the enterprise\'s operations and interactions with itscustomers and suppliers. Defines paths for necessary capacity increase for all technologywithin the enterprise. Oversight for identifying, evaluating, recommending purchasing,implementing, and managing technologies of the enterprise. Interfaces with internal customers, vendors, other InformationServices personnel and corporate management in completion of tasks. Directs efforts of the area to comply with adapted standards andmethodologies. Directs the review of the areas planning activity and progress andtakes appropriate action. Develops and monitors technology standards. Develops and implements organization changes within the area tosupport the needs of the various areas within IT and the company. Vendor Relationship Man gement, HW/SW licensing DR - Represent IT Infrastructure in BCP; DR test - planning,execution, and reporting.**What you need**Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Strong human relations, consensus building, communications,Organization, Analytical, And Problem Solving Skills Required. Well-versed in best practices for the planning, implementation andongoing support of infrastructure , firmware and software.
