Indoor Ski & Snowboard Instructor

For over 25 years, we at Virtual Snow have been teaching people of all ages and skill levels to ski and snowboard using our tried-and-true indoor training system. We’re now looking to hire more genuine, fun-loving, dedicated instructors to join the training staff at our flagship Santa Monica location. The service we provide is truly unique. Willing to work at least 20 hrs/wk Holiday availability – We get busy during the winter holiday season. Although we do close for some holidays like Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s, we expect our staff to be available during the surrounding days. Physically capable of standing, bending, walking, carrying skis & boards, completing all our skiing & snowboarding drills, and other related physical tasks. Willingness to HAVE FUN! It’s our number one rule aside from safety & being good teachers. We thrive on keeping everyone stoked & happy – staff and clients alike! Job Duties: All trainers start as an assistant. In this role, you’ll be “trained to train”. Once you complete your paid training, you’ll become a full-fledged trainer with a pay increase. As a trainer, you must be comfortable working and interacting with clients of all ages in hourlong 1-on-1 sessions. Be punctual. All trainers are required to be in the studio no later than 30 minutes before the client you are training arrives (your shift $ will start upon your arrival) Other duties include fitting clients with boots, adjusting bindings, and other small equipment-related tasks.
