Job DescriptionCare Center - Cincinnati is seeking veterinarians passionate about working in emergency medicine for our 6-month training and mentorship program. We are looking for individuals who are team oriented, driven, reflective, and reliable.The Ethos ER Immerse Training ProgramThe ER Immerse Program will prepare veterinarians for a sustainable and satisfying career in emergency medicine. Built from the ground up to be different than traditional rotating internship programs, the ERi program has been developed around a curriculum of core competencies essential for an emergency veterinarian. In addition to providing training around clinical knowledge and skills, the program also includes a focus on client and team member communication, professional skills, and life/work integration.The ER Immerse program utilizes a hybrid training approach incorporating simulation-based didactic components into authentic training experiences with live patients. The curriculum is designed using an evidence-based strategy identifying competencies and skills deemed essential for a successful career as an emergency clinician.About Care Center Cincinnati & DaytonLocated in the heart of southwest Ohio, Care Center Cincinnati is a bustling, multi-specialty and emergency hospital known for delivering outstanding patient care and fostering a culture of collaboration. We are a close-knit, dedicated team focused on high-quality care and a positive, supportive work culture.Program Duration/Commitment6-month training program beginning June 202618-month commitment as an ER clinician following training LocationCare Center - Cincinnati: 6995 E Kemper Rd., Cincinnati, OH 45249 and Care Center-Dayton 6421 Clyo Road, Centerville, OH 45459 Program Highlights5-day work week consisting of 4 clinical days, 1 didactic day, and 2 days off each weekRotate with other specialty services during the training program: Emergency, Critical Care, Cardiology, Integrative Medicine, Oncology, Medical Oncology, Surgery, and RadiologySurgical trainingAlways work with a dedicated mentor on shiftsExcellent post-training schedule: 3-day work week, no more than 3 shifts in a row, always 2 days off between working.Competency-based curriculum that includes asynchronous learning on Vetbloom and weekly live virtual didactic roundsRegular live continuing education events led by specialists and experienced emergency doctorsER Mentee Salary: $100,000.00Work authorization in the United States is a requirement for the position.
