The Technology Solutions Manager will facilitate the short- and long-term planning for Amigos’ current and future technology solutions for libraries.\r\nWorking with the Technology Solutions team, the Manager will initiate member and community engagement to identify desired technology solutions; actively lead the development, testing, documentation, training, and customer service for solutions; and explore new opportunities.\r\nThis position reports to the President and CEO.\r\nRequired Skills and Qualifications:\r\nExcellent communication skills.\r\nThis position supervises staff; engages with partners; and designs, develops, and delivers written documentation and live trainings. The ability to communicate professionally and productively is key to the leadership of this unit.\r\nCritical thinking and evaluation.\r\nThis position plans and manages the ongoing development of Amigos’ Technology Solutions, actively engaging with libraries, developing partnerships with other organizations and developer communities, and identifying promising new products and solutions.\r\nProfessionally engaged and curious.\r\nThis position, and through its direct reports, develops and maintains state, regional, and national professional relationships and actively seeks out new opportunities for collaboration.\r\n3-5 years’ experience integrated library, information retrieval, and other library technologies and/or experience with product development or management.\r\nEducation\r\nMaster’s degree in library science from an ALA-accredited program or a master’s degree with experience working in libraries or with library professionals, preferred.\r\nSalary and Benefits\r\nThe anticipated hiring salary is from $75,000.
