All employees should work at their assigned location; however, this role may offer the opportunity to work remotely up to 2 days per week, with approvals.\nAs our Assistant Controller, you will be a critical partner to the Sr. Controller and CFO, helping lead the financial reporting, accounting operations, and internal control environment for our U.S. business.\nKey Responsibilities:\nOversee month-end close, including journal entries, reconciliations, and analysis of key balance sheet accounts.\nGenerating financial reporting in accordance with U.S. GAAP, supporting both internal and external reporting needs.\nAssist with the preparation and review of consolidated financial statements and schedules.\nSupport internal control activities, SOX testing, and remediation efforts.\nSupport budgeting, forecasting, and planning processes, working closely with FP&A and business partners.\nAnalyze financial results, identify trends, and provide insights on variances, risks, and opportunities.\nHelp develop, maintain, and improve accounting policies, procedures, and documentation.\nMentor and develop junior accounting staff; provide leadership and hands-on coaching.\nWork with external auditors during audit planning and execution, ensuring timely deliverables.\nPartner cross-functionally (e.g., Tax, Treasury, Legal) to support financial initiatives, system implementations, and process improvements.\nYOU MUST HAVE:\nBachelor’s Degree minimum\nMinimum 8+ years of experience in Project Accounting, Cost Accounting, Fixed Assets, and GL/AP/AR\nDue to Contractual requirements, must be a U.S. Person defined as a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or green card holder, worker granted asylum, or refugee status\nDue to national security requirements imposed by the U.S. Government, candidates for this position must not be a People's Republic of China national or Russian national unless the candidate is also a U.S. citizen.\nWE VALUE:\nMaster’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related fields preferred\nStrong GAAP knowledge, experience with consolidated financial statements, and accounting close processes.
