The achievers and courageous challenge-crushers we seek, have the following characteristics and skills\nWhat You will Do:\nEstimate, plan, and implement Java back end applications\nWork closely with stakeholders to gather requirements to build new modules or improve existing modules.\nEvaluate, maintain and improve existing code base to ensure that it is properly structured and utilize software engineering best practices.\nTroubleshoot, identify, and research reported issues, and have the ability to provide recommendations by comparing advantages and disadvantages of various solutions.\nStay on top of new technologies and tools, and adopt relevant ones to the team.\nParticipate in peer reviews, learn and apply software engineering best practices to your work.\nAccountable for meeting assigned project objectives and timelines.\nSet engineering vision and direction for existing and future applications.\n\nWhat You Will Bring:\n8 - 12 Years of experience in designing and developing back end applications\nExperience with designing and developing web applications with an emphasis on frontend\nStrong experience with back end technologies and frameworks - Java, Spring, Spring Boot\nProficient with consuming REST APIs and handling all HTTP responses\nExperience with backend web services frameworks\nSome experience with relational databases - SQL\nStrong experience with Git, Bug tracking, and collaborating with a software team\nBasic understanding of Containerization and DevOps processes (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, CI/CD)\nStrong debugging and diagnostic skills\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills\nExcellent multi-tasking and organizational skills\nExcellent problem solving and analytical thinking skills\nSelf-directed, analytical, and collaborative with a constant desire to learn, improve, and make things better\nExperience working with a cross-disciplinary team of PMs, designers and other developers\nPay Range: $100,000-$115,000 per annum\nCompensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure.
