The position will also work closely with leadership to ensure consistency in personnel management and to nurture a culture deeply committed to diversity and inclusion.\r\nPartner with the executive team to understand and ensure strategic HR goals are aligned with the agency's initiatives.\r\nWork closely with management and employees to ensure cohesive working relationships, employee morale, staff retention, and to preserve a culture of accountability, inclusion, and respect.\r\nProvide guidance to managers and supervisors, assist with accountability for performance standards including coaching, career development, and disciplinary actions.\r\nLead and manage comprehensive and accurate use of HR systems and facilitating staff training.\r\nAssess training needs, create learning and development programs, and monitor training programs.\r\nOversee and manage completion of performance reviews.\r\nInvestigate employee issues, conflicts, and attend disciplinary and termination meetings.\r\nAdminister benefits, compensation, and workers' compensation.\r\nMonitor and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations, and recommend best practices.\r\nDevelop and implement human resources policies and procedures and communicate changes to staff, including staff accountability and incentives processes.\r\nEnsure corresponding updates to the personnel manual.\r\nOversee all HR initiatives.\r\nManage the hiring process to ensure consistency across departments.\r\nPerform other duties as assigned by Executive Director\r\nWhat you'll need: Experience working in a non-profit organization.\r\nBachelor's degree in human resources management, business administration, or other related field or equivalent work experience. *Strongly *Preferred *: Advanced Human Resources related degree, or SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP), or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential\r\nSeven years of experience in employee relations, compensation, recruitment, selection and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI).\r\nAbility to comprehend, interpret, and apply applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policies.\r\nExperience resolving complex employee relations issues.\r\nKnowledge about HRIS systems (Paycom or similar)\r\nWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.\r\nWho you are: Ability to manage sensitive, challenging, and confidential information and situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.\r\nCan think analytically and demonstrate high-functioning organizational skills and diligent attention to details.\r\nWilling to explore further when needed to accomplish tasks.\r\nAdept at communicating orally and in written form in a manner that others will understand.\r\nWho we are: Center for Family Development (CFD) has been dedicated to supporting family relationships since its inception in 1991.
