This role offers a rare opportunity to join the organization during a pivotal period of growth and transformation, helping build and support technology platforms, software solutions, and digital capabilities that will position the company for long-term success while serving critical government and commercial missions around the world.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nPerform functional, system, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing for new and existing software applications.\nDevelop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, test scripts, and testing documentation based on business and technical requirements.\nDesign, develop, and maintain automated test scripts to improve testing coverage, efficiency, and repeatability.\nExecute automated test suites and support continuous testing initiatives using established testing frameworks and tools.\nCollaborate with software developers, business analysts, product owners, and stakeholders to understand requirements and define test scenarios and acceptance criteria.\nIdentify, document, track, and validate software defects through resolution and retesting activities.\nSupport testing activities related to system integrations, data validation, and enterprise application interoperability.\nParticipate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily standups, and sprint reviews.\nAssist with test environment preparation, test data management, release validation, and deployment readiness activities.\nContribute to process improvements, automation initiatives, and quality assurance best practices that enhance product reliability and team effectiveness.\n\nBasic Qualifications\n\nEducation & Experience\n\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.\nMinimum five (5) years of experience in software quality assurance, software testing, or related technical roles.\nExperience performing both manual and automated testing across enterprise applications.\nExperience developing and maintaining automated test scripts and test automation frameworks.\nExperience working within Agile and Scrum software delivery environments.\nUnderstanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), testing methodologies, and quality assurance best practices.\nMust be a U.S. Citizen.\n\nTechnical & Leadership Skills\n\nStrong knowledge of software testing principles, methodologies, and defect management processes.\nExperience executing functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing activities.\nAbility to design, execute, and maintain automated testing solutions.\nStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.\nExcellent attention to detail and commitment to software quality.\nAbility to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\nExperience integrating automated testing capabilities into CI/CD pipelines and DevOps environments.\nExperience with API testing tools and service validation techniques.\nFamiliarity with performance, load, or scalability testing approaches and tools.\nExperience supporting cloud-hosted applications, particularly within Microsoft Azure environments.\nExperience testing enterprise business systems and complex application integrations.\n\nAdditional Compensation: KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation.
