Are You Driven By Opportunity?Nextran Truck Centers Is Hiring!Our Employees Benefit FromCareer Paths || Network of 30 Dealerships || Disability Insurance || Paid Time Off (2wks 1st year) || Nextran Paid Life InsuranceFamily Centered Values || Medical and Dependent Care FSA || 401(k) Retirement Plan with Match || Company-Paid Holidays || EAPGreat Medical, Dental, & Vision Benefits || Social Responsibility Opportunities || 28+ Years of Industry Experience || Professional GrowthAs a Parts manager, you are a valued member of our team, performing:Duties And ResponsibilitiesTrain parts department and warehouse staffOrganizes and oversees employees’ work and schedules.Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.Handles discipline and termination of employees as needed and in accordance with company policy.Assist all customers (retail and shop) in selecting required parts in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner.Answer phone calls, providing price quotes and other information.Provide and high level of service to internal and external customers.Locate out-of-Stock parts from outside sources and submit emergency orders as needed.Follow up on Back ordered parts.Replenishes assigned inventory.Assists Outside Sales Representatives with their orders.Makes sure all internal requests for parts are billed on service repair orders.Receive payment from retail customers or obtain credit authorization.Other Duties as Assigned.Required Skills/AbilitiesExcellent managerial and supervisory skills.Ability to perform well under pressure and understand the fluctuating needs forVarious replacement parts to excel in the role.Ability to read work orders submitted by service department.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Thorough understanding of how to use tools required for the trade.Computer proficiencyEducation And ExperienceHigh school diploma or GED equivalent required.Minimum successful completion of technical school program and/orFive years of experience in automotive shop1 year of experience in parts counter sales, or an Associate’s degree and 1 year of experience in the industry.Strong interpersonal and communication skillsWe are a network of commercial truck dealerships committed to providing the best products and services through highly skilled associates who are focused on delivering the lowest life-cycle cost to our customers.
