This position averages 5 hours per week but can be supplemented with hours in child watch, wellness floor, or custodial services. In addition to all other duties as assigned, this role will:\n\nEssential Functions\n\nAssist in the development, implementation and instruction of high-quality preschool, youth, and family programming.\n\nCreate a climate that fosters YMCA goals for a fun, engaging atmospheres for all participants.\n\nEnsure that program standards are met, and safety procedures are followed.\n\nAssist with reporting, mailings, phone calls and research as requested.\n\nModel relationship-building skills in all interactions.\n\nEnsure proper care, use, and storage of equipment.\n\nAssist in program marketing, promotion, evaluation, and retention.\n\nAssist with member recruitment and conversion opportunities for participants.\n\nFacilitate communication, provide leadership, exercise sound judgment, and provide high level conflict resolution skills.\n\nQualifications\n\nThe requirements and preferences (where indicated) for this role are listed below.
