Software Developer
The Job/What You'll Do:
The Software Developer supports the implementation and maintenance of internal desktop and web applications. The Software Developer will collaborate and work with a high-performing, multi-discipline team on full software development lifecycle projects and initiatives. The Software Developer will play a crucial role in the design, development and delivery of operational software applications used across various departments at Solari.
Candidates must reside in one of the following states: Arizona, Texas, Washington, Seattle, Virginia, Oklahoma, Colorado, and Georgia, North Carolina, Wyoming, Florida.
Responsibilities:
We are seeking a full stack Software Developer with core responsibilities:
Develop and maintain software applications that are scalable, secure, and efficient
Maintenance of web applications, web services and back-end processes
Collaborate with cross functional teams, managers and other stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements
Write clean and maintainable code that is scalable and easy to maintain
Test and debug software to ensure that it meets project requirements
Develop and maintain RESTful APIs for communication between the front-end and back-end
Participate in code reviews and quality assurance checks
Document software designs, implementation, and testing processes
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Strong workplace coding experience in C#, C, C++
Strong workplace coding experience in Java, JavaScript
Strong workplace expertise in both front-end and back-end web development and technologies
Experience with version control systems like Git
Excellent oral and written communication skills, clearly and accurately communicating complex and/or technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences
Ability to act professionally and maintain appropriate boundaries with clients and staff.
Ability to report as scheduled to work, meetings, training, and job-related activities prepared and as scheduled.

Education & Experience:
3-5 years of experience in .Net, C#, Java, JavaScript, Visual Studio, REST API's, JSON, Required
Python, JIRA, Frontend Frameworks (React, Angular), Preferred
Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred
Working Conditions:
While performing the job duties in the office or at a home office, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, and use hands; they must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Exposure to noise typical with office operations. Ability to hear and speak.
