This role serves as a critical project management and operations resource, leading the administration of a large-scale essay submission and judging process while supporting hundreds of live events across the country.\r\nThe ideal candidate is a strong project manager who enjoys managing multiple moving pieces, working with external vendors, supporting stakeholders, and creating seamless processes. This individual will serve as a primary liaison between clients, vendors, judges, and event hosts, ensuring a high-quality experience from program launch through event execution.\r\nWhat You'll Do\r\nProgram Operations & Project Management\r\nManage the full lifecycle of an information submission and review process, from platform setup and testing through final reporting and program closeout.\r\nServe as the primary project manager and liaison between client stakeholders and technology vendors.\r\nCoordinate reviewer onboarding, communications, training, and support throughout the review process.\r\nMaintain reporting dashboards and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.\r\nLead support for inquiries, ensuring timely and professional responses.\r\nServe as the subject matter expert for the information submission and review platform, troubleshooting issues and partnering with vendors on enhancements and solutions.\r\nEvent Support & Stakeholder Engagement\r\nSupport more than 200 events during the spring and summer program cycle.\r\nManage event-related communications and inquiries from partner organizations and event hosts.\r\nFacilitate virtual information sessions and training opportunities for event hosts and stakeholders.\r\nOversee document management processes and maintain program resources and materials.\r\nVendor & Technology Management\r\nManage relationships with multiple technology and content vendors.\r\nCoordinate implementation and support of event technology platforms.\r\nOversee event platform administration and content management processes.\r\nPartner with vendors to ensure successful execution of program requirements and event deliverables.\r\nMonitor timelines, deliverables, and issue resolution across multiple external partners.\r\nWhat We're Looking For\r\n3–5+ years of experience in project management, program operations, event management, or a related field.\r\nExceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.\r\nExperience coordinating complex projects with multiple stakeholders and external vendors.\r\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\r\nDemonstrated ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams.\r\nExperience managing technology platforms, databases, or online submission systems preferred.\r\nCustomer-service mindset with the ability to respond professionally to inquiries and resolve issues.\r\nProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and virtual collaboration tools.\r\nExperience supporting events, training sessions, webinars, or stakeholder engagement initiatives is preferred.\r\nWhat Makes You Successful\r\nYou are proactive, resourceful, and solutions-oriented.\r\nYou thrive in fast-paced environments with competing deadlines.\r\nYou can balance attention to detail with the ability to see the bigger picture.\r\nYou are comfortable working directly with clients, partners, vendors, and senior stakeholders.\r\nYou take ownership of your work and consistently follow through on commitments.\r\nComprehensive benefits package included (medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and more)\r\nMarkham is an equal opportunity employer.
