Human Resources Business Partner

The OpportunityRelate Search is partnered with a high-performing manufacturing organization seeking a strategic and operationally strong Human Resources Business Partner to support its operations function.This HRBP will serve as the primary HR partner to operations leadership, including a highly engaged VP of Operations. Supporting approximately 275 employees across production, quality, maintenance, safety, and customer service, this role requires a results-driven business partner who understands the nuances of a non-union manufacturing environment and can confidently influence leaders at all levels. The organization is evolving - adding senior HR talent, implementing Workday, and elevating its people strategy. This HRBP will be a key stakeholder in that evolution. What You’ll DoServe as a trusted advisor to operations leadership, aligning workforce strategy with production goals and business performance objectivesProvide healthy pushback and strategic guidance on workforce planning, ensuring staffing decisions reflect operational realities and future growth needsLead employee relations efforts, navigating complex situations with fairness, consistency, and a strong understanding of manufacturing environmentsPartner closely with leaders to elevate supervisor and manager capability through coaching, development, and accountabilityDrive succession planning and talent development initiatives, identifying talent gaps and building future bench strengthSupport and influence hourly recruiting strategy in partnership with Talent Acquisition, ensuring hiring processes remain efficient and aligned to business needsMaintain momentum in recruiting and hiring workflows, addressing bottlenecks and ensuring interview processes move efficientlyLeverage workforce data and analytics (turnover, staffing trends, performance metrics) to diagnose challenges and implement solutionsUphold HR policies and practices that promote equity, compliance, and a high-performance cultureCollaborate cross-functionally with HR team members and operational leaders to ensure initiatives are aligned and executed effectively What You BringBachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field with 5+ years of progressive HRBP experienceDemonstrated success partnering within a manufacturing or operations-driven environment (non-union preferred)Strong employee relations expertise with the ability to mediate, coach, and resolve issues with sound judgment and professionalismProven ability to influence senior leaders, provide strategic pushback, and translate business needs into actionable people strategiesExperience with workforce planning, succession planning, and talent development in a production-based organization About Relate SearchRelate Search is a woman-, minority-, and LGBTQIA+-owned executive search firm specializing in senior leadership placements across Human Resources, Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, and broader executive functions.
