Join our talented team at a global medical device company focused on Helping Surgeons Treat Their Patients Better™\n\nMain Objective:\nThe Technical Operations Analyst position works directly with business departments within Arthrex Manufacturing to build and manage the advancement of plant connectivity. The position focuses on collaboration with Maintenance, Operations, Quality, and Engineering teams to define business needs and integration capability for new and existing equipment. Will serve as a driver for implementing and improving capability to further Arthrex manufacturing capability through technical expertise.\n\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nDrive development of requirements for equipment connectivity and data needs to support Operations and Quality efforts.\nWork with Maintenance, Operations, Quality, and Engineering teams to define requirements and capability for existing and new equipment, including technical specifications for modifications and new orders.\nProvide technical expertise in network and/or control systems integration to support design, implementation, and supporting equipment integration.\nParticipate in application configuration, analysis, management, and maintenance in a manufacturing environment, including (where applicable):\nIssue resolution, patching, and performance monitoring.\nReliability, backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity.\nMonitor system logs for unusual activity and escalate or make recommendations for resolution.\nParticipate in infrastructure projects to provide application specifications and requirements, as well as operational, run book, and capacity planning information.\nResponsible for ensuring data integrity from connected devices\nExperience with cross-functional efforts and technical execution of networking/infrastructure and/or controls systems.\nRespond, resolve, or escalate reported incidents.\nEnsure stability, integration, and integrity of manufacturing related production systems.\nResponsible for coordinating manufacturing related application needs from back-end platforms through user interface.\nPartner with Information Technology to support integration of equipment to meet Manufacturing System business requirements and coordinate with Information Security to ensure systems are safe.\nSolution, Implement, and Support software applications that support manufacturing operations and quality. Partner with Information Technology to ensure robust infrastructure for maximizing uptime of applications.\nDevelop system functional requirements to meet business needs in manufacturing operations in order to evaluate, select, implement, and support applications in the manufacturing facilities.\nDevelop capability and support run state of historizing data.\nDevelop and support completion of technical specifications to capture configuration and design.\nOther duties as assigned.\nUp to 20% travel or as required\n\nEducation and Experience:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required\nBachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred\n5 + years of relevant work experience required\nExperience in an FDA regulated environment preferred\n\nAdditional Duties & Responsibilities:\nFrequent use and general knowledge of industry practices and techniques. Contributes to new concepts and techniques.\nIdentifying business needs and aligning with technology solutions available.\nExperience with deployment and supporting applications.\nMentor junior Analysts.\nAnalyze business process potentials for streamlining and improvements in efficiencies\nWork with manufacturing and engineering teams and Business Analysts to provide direction in large cross-functional teams.\nProvide technical training assistance for users, applications programming team, and other staff.\n\nSpecialized Skills:\nExperience with machine builders in technical design requirements for SCADA layer to support equipment integration\nExpertise in configuration of plant connectivity methods\n\nIncidental Duties:\nThe above statements describe the general nature and level of work being performed in this job.
