This is an evolving role that will have the opportunity to grow as our business grows! The Office Assistant will support the day-to-day administrative and operational workflow of the plant. This role is responsible for accurate order entry, customer communication, label preparation, and production-related documentation to ensure smooth coordination between the office and plant floor. This position serves as a key support function in the order-to-production-to-shipment process and will be cross-trained in multiple operational areas to build depth and flexibility within the site.\nCustomer Service & Order Support\n\nEnter customer orders accurately and timely\nCommunicate with customers regarding order status, clarifications, and follow-ups\nServe as liaison between sales and plant operations for order questions\nRelease orders for pickup\nAssist with truck scheduling and serve as backup to logistics when needed\nComplete customer-specific reporting and tracking (Lowes, Ollie’s, and similar accounts)\nCheck in truck drivers upon arrival\nEnter and receive purchase orders (POs)\nProduction Administrative Support\n\nCreate and print EPA-compliant product labels\nMaintain label files and revision control\nPrepare blend sheets and production paperwork\nEnter production data once batches are completed\nCross-train on label setup to support early production needs\n\nThis role will be cross-trained in:\n\nTime card approvals\nAttendance tracking\nBasic production scheduling\nLogistics coordination\nRegulatory label requirements\nOffice workflow processes\n\nBenefits:\nPerformance-based bonuses in addition to hourly wage.\nHealth, dental, and vision insurance.\nCompany provided Life Insurance, AD&D Insurance, STD/LTD insurance.\nRetirement savings plan with company match.\nOpportunities for development and training.\nFriendly and collaborative work environment.\nThis position operates in a manufacturing office environment.
