Essential Functions:Participates in designing, developing, troubleshooting and analyzing software programs for new and existing systemsDevelops/modifies documentation of new or existing program, as requiredConduct/support complex Level 1, 2, and 3 testing to qualify systems for Range operationsProvides feedback and reports to management on the status of each project supportingLeads technical proposals as well as software maintenance release efforts including estimating, planning, and schedulingSupports the efforts of all technical support personnel for assigned projectsAdditional duties as assigned Required Skills:Effective communication skills with demonstrated capability to brief project information to management and customersStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong organizational and time management skills to balance, plan, prioritize and execute projectsAbility to work within a dynamic, fast paced environment with time constraintsAbility to work independently and as part of a team Required Experience:Bachelor's of Science degree in Computer Science or related science, technology, engineering or math (STEM) field or equivalent to of education and related experience.Minimum of 8+ years of experience in software engineeringMust be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance, which includes U.S. citizenshipCurrent DOD 8140 Certification (Security+) or ability to obtain certification within six (6) months of start dateExperience working with Windows and Linux (RedHat and GNU) based computer systems and componentsExperience working with scripting languages (Python, JavaScript)Experience working with design and coding languagesExperience working with virtualized systems (VMware)The flexibility to work occasional non-duty hours or on weekends to support specific project or mission requirementsSome travel may be required (less than 10%)The ability to lift 30 lbsValid U.S. Driver's License required Compensation Details: $135,000 to $145,000 The compensation range or hourly rate listed for this position is provided as a good-faith estimate of what the company intends to offer for this role at the time this posting was issued. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as job responsibilities, education, experience, skills, internal equity, market data, applicable collective bargaining agreements, and relevant laws.
