This is an associate to hire opportunity for a company in Raymore, MO.Assembler Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Assemble and test production units using hand and power toolsFollow detailed blueprints, work instructions, and proceduresCalibrate assemblies to meet tolerances and product specificationsOperate drill presses, punch presses, and other production equipmentAlign and connect mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, or hydraulic componentsInstall and test moving parts such as shafts, gears, and bearingsPerform drilling, tapping, grinding, and fitting of partsMonitor product quality and report any defects or issuesMaintain production schedules to meet daily output goalsPack finished products and prepare pallets for shipmentMaintain a clean and organized workspace (5S standards)Report part shortages and assist in maintaining inventory levels (kanban)Train and support team members as neededPerform additional duties as assignedAssembler Requirements:High school diploma or GEDPrevious manufacturing or assembly experience preferredAbility to read and write in English (bilingual a plus)Comfortable standing in a small workspace for 10-hour shiftsAbility to lift 50-70 pounds consistentlyAbility to stand for up to 10-hour shiftsAbility to follow detailed instructions and proceduresQPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
