Our engagements span the civilian and defense sectors and include developing some of the most impactful automations that have been deployed in the Federal Government. Responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:\nBuild production-grade APIs that work in legacy environments.\nDevelop and maintain APIs and integration services.\nImplement data transformation and orchestration logic.\nOptimize API performance, reliability, while ensuring compliance with IRS security policies.\nCollaborate with engineers and UI customers to drive practical solutions.\nWrite automated tests and technical documentation.\nImplement infrastructure-as-code.\nHarden environments for ATO compliance.\nQualifications:\nTechnical Skills:\nBachelors, Masters, or PHD in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Note: Experience in lieu of an advanced degree is acceptable.\nCertification in cloud technologies such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Professional Cloud Architect, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert.\n5+ years of hands-on experience in cloud architecture principles, design, security, and cost optimization.\nBackend development (Java, Spring Boot, Node.js, .NET, Python).\nFrontend development (React, Angular, Vue, JavaScript).\nDatabases: PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server, MongoDB, Azure).\nDevOps management (Docker, CI/CD, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).\nFederal coding security and data sharing practices.\nDebugging distributed systems.\nSecurity tooling (Splunk).\nBonus Experience:\nExperience integrating (or developing automations that interact with) IRS systems (e.g., CADE, IMF, BMF, IDRS, etc.).\nDemonstrated understanding of government data governance constraints.\nProven accomplishments in customer service, client success, or relationship management roles.\nExperience implementing OCR/DU-enabled workflows.\nPrior ATO experience.\nExperience with: Oracle, Databricks, AWS, Azure.\nAs a HUBZone certified company, we encourage applicants who live in a HUBZone, as designated by the Small Business Administration (SBA), to apply for this position.
