We work closely with insurance carriers, TPAs, property managers, and homeowners to deliver fast, compliant, and high-quality restoration services.We are seeking a skilled and dependable Construction Technician to join and help grow our Reconstruction Division. This role is ideal for someone with strong hands-on construction experience who takes pride in quality workmanship, professionalism, and customer service. The right candidate will be comfortable performing both interior and exterior repair work on residential and light commercial properties affected by water, fire, mold, and other property damage.Position OverviewThe Construction Technician is responsible for performing reconstruction and repair work from start to finish on a variety of restoration projects. This includes drywall, painting, trim, tile flooring, punch work, general carpentry, and exterior repairs such as siding, gutters, and roofing-related work.This position is ideal for someone who can work efficiently in occupied homes and active jobsites, maintain a clean and professional appearance, and help restore damaged properties back to pre-loss condition with care and attention to detail.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform drywall hanging, patching, finishing, and texturingComplete interior painting, touch-up, and surface preparationInstall and repair trim, baseboards, doors, and other finish carpentry itemsPerform tile flooring installation and other flooring-related repairsComplete punch work, minor carpentry, cabinet touch-ups, and general repairsAssist with exterior work, including siding, gutters, roofing repairs, and related exterior tasksPerform demolition, jobsite prep, and cleanup as neededMaintain clean, safe, and organized jobsitesFollow project scopes, schedules, and company proceduresCommunicate professionally with homeowners, tenants, property managers, and team membersWork closely with project managers and field staff to keep projects moving efficientlyDeliver high-quality workmanship while meeting company standards and customer expectationsRequired QualificationsMinimum 2 years of construction, remodeling, handyman, or reconstruction experienceExperience with drywall, painting, trim work, tile flooring, and basic carpentryExperience with exterior repairs such as siding, gutters, roofing, and related exterior workAbility to safely use hand tools and power toolsStrong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanshipGood communication skills and professional jobsite behaviorAbility to lift, carry, bend, kneel, stand, and perform full-time physical workAbility to work independently, with a partner, or as part of a teamValid drivers license and clean driving recordReliable transportation to report to the office or jobsites as neededPreferred QualificationsExperience in restoration-related reconstruction workExperience working in occupied homes after water, fire, or mold lossesExperience with punch-list work, light framing, cabinetry, and general repair workBasic understanding of insurance restoration workflowsBilingual English/Spanish is a plusWhy Join Royal RestorationRoyal Restoration offers an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to grow with a fast-moving and respected restoration company.
