{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"9e53e5a5fb0261b576eb7fc9","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/9e53e5a5fb0261b576eb7fc9","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/9e53e5a5fb0261b576eb7fc9","title":"Outbound Loader","description":"General Summary:\nThis is an warehouse position responsible for loading pre-assembled merchandise/pallets and master containers for shipment or transporting on delivery vehicles as directed under general supervision.\n\nEssential Skills and Knowledge\n\nAbility to read, write, and understand English.\nBasic arithmetic skills.\nGood physical stamina.\n\nEssential Duties:\n\nLoads and unloads shipments as required; constant lifting of boxes weighing up to 100 pounds each.\nLoads trucks according to truck mapping and special instructions.\nLoads product in a manner to avoid damages and maintain load stability to insure driver safety.\nWraps pallets by machine or hand to insure stability.\nUnloads and cleans out trucks as necessary\nOperates stock trucks and mechanical jacks throughout the plant constantly in a safe manner.\nPrepares products for shipment under general supervision by weighing, handling and transporting as necessary. Marks, addresses, loads, and packs product for proper delivery and condition.\nHand loads product onto trucks as required\nComplies with all safety regulations and standards.\n\nMinimum Qualifications:\n\n18+ years of age\nAbility to work on Sundays\nAbility to work nights\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\nHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred\n3 months warehouse experience and/or 3 months operating an electric pallet jack or forklift and/or a history of physical nature roles preferred\n\nCompetencies:\n\nTo be successful in this position, the individual performing the duties must successfully demonstrate the following competencies:\n\nProblem Solving - Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; Gathers and analyzes information skillfully; Develops alternative solutions; Works well in group problem solving situations; Uses reason even when dealing with emotional topics.\nInterpersonal Skills - Maintains confidentiality; Keeps emotions under control; Remains open to others' ideas and tries new things.\nOral Communication - Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; Responds well to questions.\nWritten Communication - Writes clearly and informatively; Able to read and interpret written information.\nQuality Management - Looks for ways to improve and promote quality.\nCost Consciousness - Works within approved budget.\nEthics - Treats people with respect; Keeps commitments; Inspires the trust of others.\nOrganizational Support - Follows policies and procedures; Completes administrative tasks correctly and on time.\nJudgment - Displays willingness to make decisions; Exhibits sound and accurate judgment; Makes timely decisions.\nPlanning/Organizing - Uses time efficiently.\nProfessionalism - Treats others with respect and consideration regardless of their status or position.\nQuantity - Completes work in timely manner.\nSafety and Security - Observes safety and security procedures; Determines appropriate action beyond guidelines; Reports potentially unsafe conditions; Uses equipment and materials properly.\nAdaptability - Adapts to changes in the work environment.\nAttendance/Punctuality - Is consistently at work and on time; Arrives at meetings and appointments on time.\nInitiative - Asks for and offers help when needed.\n\nPhysical Demands\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
