Location: Beacon, NY (some flexibility to support Carmel, NY) Salary: $91,000 / year Join Our RN Team – Monday–Friday, Zero On-Call!If you’re tired of conventional, institutional nursing - join our nursing team at Howland Avenue, Ability Beyond’s largest home in Beacon, NY, serving 14 adults with intellectual and physical disabilities. Residents have complex medical needs, including G-tube care, and are supported 24/7 by LPNs. They enjoy community outings, sensory activities, and fully accessible private rooms with stunning mountain views. Primarily based at Howland, with occasional work at other homes, you’ll provide nursing oversight, collaborate with our residential team, and have no on-call responsibilities.Your RoleDirect and coordinate the healthcare needs of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilitiesAdvocate to ensure the people we serve get the best clinical care possible through teaching, training and audit activitiesUse your interpersonal and communication skills to work with a diverse team, ranging from non-licensed direct care staff to physicians, clinical team members, and other caregiversOversee medication administration and overall care documentation for assigned caseloadIdeal For An RN WhoHas experience working with developmental disabilities BUT if you do not, we are happy to share our love of IDD nursing with you!
