In this position, you'll manage the complete accounts payable cycle while working closely with project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure accurate and timely financial processing.Our construction environment moves quickly, and we need someone who thrives in that pace while maintaining exceptional accuracy and attention to detail. You'll be joining a collaborative teamwhere your organizational skills and proactive approach will make a real impact on our operations.Key ResponsibilitiesInvoice Processing & Payment ManagementProcess accounts payable invoices, payment applications, credit card transactions, and recurring expenses with accuracy and efficiencyGather and verify required payment documentation, including lien waivers, W9 forms, certificates of insurance, bonds, contracts, and change ordersVendor & Subcontractor RelationsMaintain comprehensive supplier and subcontractor account records, including managing W9 collection and updatesCollaborate directly with Project Managers to track and follow up on missing subcontract payment applicationsProvide guidance and support to subcontractors in completing payment applications accuratelyResolve payment discrepancies and communicate effectively with all stakeholdersFinancial Reconciliation & Record KeepingPerform monthly account reconciliations using supplier statements to ensure accuracyOrganize and maintain all accounting documents and records in accordance with company standardsSupport additional accounting department functions and special projects as business needs requireQualificationsExperience & Technical SkillsPrevious accounts payable experience strongly preferredAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reportingFamiliarity with accounting software and financial systemsCore Competencies xmcpwfu Exceptional organizational abilities with meticulous attention to detailProven track record of meeting deadlines within structured accounting cyclesStrong written and verbal communication skills for effective stakeholder interactionSelf-directed work style with ability to collaborate effectively in team environmentsAdaptability and eagerness to cross-train in various accounting functionsSuperior multitasking capabilities in a fast-paced construction settingWhat We OfferOpportunity to work with a well-established construction companyCollaborative team environment with opportunities for professional growthExposure to diverse aspects of construction accounting and project management
