The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in GIS software and a passion for turning data into actionable insights.\n\nThis position will report directly to the GIS Manager and is required to live in or around the Spokane, WA area.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\nCollect, process, and maintain geospatial data from various sources.\nCreate maps, reports, and visualizations to support projects and decision-making.\nPerform spatial analysis and modeling to identify trends and patterns.\nEnsure data accuracy and integrity through quality control processes.\nCollaborate with internal teams and clients to provide GIS solutions.\nManage GIS databases and integrate data with other systems as needed.\nDevelop and maintain geospatial workflows and automation scripts for efficiency.\nSupport field data collection using GPS and mobile GIS applications.\nPrepare presentations and technical documentation for stakeholders.\nAssist in integrating GIS with other enterprise systems and data platforms.\nMonitor emerging GIS technologies and recommend improvements.\n\nRequired Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Geography, GIS, Environmental Science, or related field.\nProficiency in GIS software (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS) and spatial analysis tools.\nExperience with data management, geodatabases, and coordinate systems.\nKnowledge of scripting languages (Python, SQL) for automation is a plus.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.\nExperience with Excel and formulas.\nKnowledge of the Public Land Survey System (PLSS).\n\nPreferred Skills:\nFamiliarity with remote sensing and GPS data collection.\nExperience in mining, environmental, or natural resource projects.\nAbility to work independently and manage multiple priorities.\nExperience with landwork and land ownership research.\nAbility to read master title plats and determine land availability for claim staking.\n\nWhat We Offer\nCompetitive pay (DOE)\nPPE allowance\nPaid travel and expenses (if applicable)\n401(k) with employer matching\nComprehensive benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life insurance\nOpportunities for professional growth and advancement\nWork with industry leaders in a thriving, expanding company\n\nAbout Rangefront Mining Services\nRangefront Mining Services is a US-based company with headquarters in Elko, Nevada and regional offices throughout North America.
