functional requirements, gap analysis, and design documents.\nDesigns, prototypes and applies best practices for new and/or existing systems including the development of test plans\nDevelops specifications for and programs moderately complex technical modules and applications\nWorks with management and architects to craft the best technical approach for the project at hand\nGathers requirements and estimates project work into cost models\nCreates/modifies complex applications per specifications, on time, on budget in a quality manner\nPerforms moderate to complex design and creates software specifications.\nCompletes high complexity tasks\nEnforces unit testing, code and documentation standards within the organization\nEstablishes priorities and executes to achieve results\nCreates software release notes, support documents, and user documentation\nEnsures proper version control of application software code\nPerforms troubleshooting, debugging and testing of application software\nResolves production support issues in a timely manner, including during non-business work hours\nCommunicates effectively with manager, peers, and internal customers to relay status of work and raise challenges, concerns, questions, and issues as necessary\nCollaborate with senior developers to help author standard process and support related documents\nStays abreast of the new technologies and help articulate pros and cons to the management team\nMentors junior staff in technical and business skills and help coordinate their day-to-day tasks\nUnderstands database architecture, distributed infrastructure and various network technologies to develop robust and scalable solutions for the organization\nConfigures and installs software/code in accordance to change management policies and procedures\nPerforms code reviews and design reviews in order ensure quality of deliverables and functional requirements are achieved\nPerforms other duties as assigned\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s Degree in relevant field or 10+ years IT experience\nRelevant certifications : a plus\n5+ years of progressive experience in an IT environment.\nAbility to create software specifications for complex applications\nAbility to recognize patterns when analyzing problems\nAbility to perform gap analyses\nAbility to conduct requirements gathering and subsequently create a design document\nAbility to work irregular hours or schedules to accommodate site needs and to perform assigned duties in an efficient manner\nAbility to perform code reviews and design
