TITLE:* Assembler\n\n*DEPARTMENT:* Operations-Assembly\n\n*ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:*\n\n* Perform general assembly steps such as labeling, taping, masking, coating, assembly of components to boards, and other hand and machine operations\n* Cut board assemblies out of panels using side cutters or other depanelizing equipment\n* Use pliers, cutters, and small hand tools for various steps in board assembly\n* Assemble circuit boards into finished products\n* All other duties as assigned by your supervisor/manager\n\n*QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:*\n\n* Self-motivated as well as the ability to work well with others\n* General knowledge of electronic components\n* Strong attention to detail\n* Interpretation of drawings specifications and instructions\n* Good communication skills\n* General computer skills\n* Ability to use small hand tools\n* Willingness to cross-train into different positions as needed\n* Must be able to work in a seated position for up to 8 hours per day\n* Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.\n* Must be able to read, write, communicate, and comprehend the English language\n* Must pass a pre-employment drug screening test and criminal background check\n* Must be able to meet all physical requirements as outlined in this position description\n* Must follow all company policies outlined in the EI Microcircuits Employee Handbook of Personnel Policies\n* Complete all orientation and training needs as written in policy\n\n*EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:*\n\n* High school diploma or equivalent\n* Trained in IPC-A-610 Acceptability of
