experience is necessary but experience with a major programming language (C, C++ or FORTRAN) and a working knowledge of Windows/Unix/Linux Operating Systems is required.\nQualified candidates will be detail oriented, highly motivated and comfortable with working independently and in a development team.\n\nPreferred Requirements:\n\nCandidate with these desired skills or experience will be given preferential consideration:\nExperience in modeling and simulations architecture and development\nExperience with Object Oriented Software Analysis and Design\nExperience with all phases of software QA including unit, acceptance, regression and cross-platform testing\nDevelopment experience with IDEs (VisualStudio, NetBeans, Eclipse), debuggers and performance tools\nKnowledge or experience in multi-threading (POSIX, OpenMP, MPI), SSE or GPU programming\nFamiliarity with MATLAB scripting and Simulink\nExperience with version-control software (CVS, Subversion, Git) and configuration management tools (Jira, Confluence, Bugzilla)\nXML, JSON, YAML\nPython web API’s/servers (Flask, Django, etc.)\nAPI development as well as documentation\nExperience with scripting languages (C++,
