The individual will guide both Scrum and Kanban teams toward higher maturity, provide strategic oversight across key initiatives, and ensure alignment, accountability, and continuous improvement through data-driven practices.Key ResponsibilitiesAgile Coaching & Process MaturityCoach Scrum and Kanban teams to enhance Agile adoption and process maturity Act as a subject matter expert on Agile methodologies, driving consistency and best practices Influence and evolve Agile processes across the organizationDelivery Leadership & OversightProvide a holistic view of work across teams, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities Oversee and drive progress on the top strategic initiatives within the portfolio Facilitate leadership-level stand-ups and key program discussionsStakeholder Collaboration & AccountabilityPartner with Product Owners, engineering teams, and portfolio managers to ensure delivery outcomes Drive accountability across technical teams and leadership stakeholders Communicate effectively across all levels of the organizationAgile Execution & FacilitationLead Agile ceremonies and ensure effective planning, tracking, and execution Remove blockers, streamline workflows, and enable faster decision-makingData, Metrics & ReportingUtilize Azure DevOps (Azure Boards) for backlog management and delivery tracking Build dashboards and visualizations for epics, features, and user stories Analyze Agile metrics such as velocity, burndown, and team efficiency to drive improvements Provide insights that support leadership decision-making and continuous improvementRequired SkillsCore CompetenciesStrong expertise in Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, and hybrid models) Deep understanding of Agile processes and methodologies (Process SME mindset) Experience working in Agile transformation environmentsTools & MetricsHands-on experience with Azure DevOps / Azure Boards Ability to interpret and present Agile metrics and performance dataCommunication & LeadershipExcellent communication skills across all organizational levels Ability to influence without authority and drive organizational change Strong collaboration skills across cross-functional and global teamsTechnical UnderstandingTechnical expertise in areas like Cloud, DevOps, or Security is not mandatory Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) is requiredTeam & EnvironmentWork across domains such as Cloud, DevOps, Security, Identity, and Risk Collaborate with global cross-functional teams, architects, and engineering groups Role combines Agile coaching with program/project leadership responsibilitiesWork LocationPeoria, Chicago (IL), or Dallas (TX) Hybrid model with in-office presence as neededInterview ProcessTwo rounds of panel interviews conducted via Microsoft Teams Each round includes 23 interviewersAdditional ConsiderationsStable work history preferred (frequent job changes may be a concern)
