Each day, the Foundation works to meet the diverse needs of foster children and help them thrive.Role DescriptionThe Director of Development is a full-time on-site leadership role based in Greater Orlando. This individual will oversee and execute comprehensive fundraising strategies, including managing annual giving programs, cultivating donor relations, and growing philanthropic partnerships. Responsibilities include developing and implementing strategic plans for fundraising campaigns, overseeing efforts in planned giving, organizing donor events, managing budgets, and leading initiatives to increase community support. This is an integral position focused on advancing the organization's mission through sustainable funding and program growth.QualificationsExpertise in Major Gifts and Annual Giving strategiesProven experience in Fundraising and cultivating strong donor relationshipsStrong knowledge of Philanthropy and the nonprofit sectorAbility to manage Budgets effectively and responsiblyExceptional leadership, organizational, and communication skillsPrior experience in nonprofit development or similar related roleBachelor's degree in business, nonprofit management, communications, or a related fieldCommitment to the mission of supporting and empowering children in foster care
