You will own making architecture decisions made at the platform level, identify reusable patterns, and automate adoption to Azure services for multiple application teams within the DIE ecosystem. You will assist in design & implementation of cloud-native, well-architected solutions that integrate well into the existing Kroger systems. You will run the departments Azure administration functions. You will also provide best practices on secure foundational cloud implementations, automated provisioning of infrastructure and applications, cloud-ready application architectures, and more. You will strive to continuously improve the software delivery processes & practices and be a role model to other engineers from application teams.\r\nExpertise in Terraform\r\nExperience in Github & Github actions\r\nExperience with Harness\r\nExperience with Yaml\r\nExperience Artifactory\r\nExperience designing, building, and deploying scalable cloud-based solution architectures\r\nExperience working with public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure and/or GCP.\r\nExperience working with Serverless Computing & Azure Functions\r\nExperience with monitoring/alerting techniques and APM tools\r\nExperience automating infrastructure provisioning, DevOps, or Continuous Integration/Delivery\r\nKnowledge of containerization and container orchestration technologies.\r\nGood understanding and/or experience writing software in one or more languages, GO preferred\r\nFamiliarity with standard IT security practices such as identity and access management, SSO, data protection, encryption, certificate, and key management\r\nKey Responsibilities\r\nAccountable for acting as the departments Azure Subject Matter expert for its Azure solutions, migrations, consulting needs, resource group administration and subscription. Enable other team members with Azure cross-training.
