Our technicians perform a variety of technical, customer service and clerical tasks. This position will deal with current and prospective customers on a daily basis. All of our technicians must be able to communicate effectively with all of our current and prospective customers in person as well as via telephone and e-mail. Technical responsibilities consist of performing a wide variety of IT support, computer repair and networking related tasks.\nWe provide Paid Personal Leave/Vacation Time and a Retirement Account with Employer Match.\nIt is imperative you have the required experience as we test all candidates during the interview process. This position is for a Full-Time In-Store and On-Site technician. Driver's license is a MUST.\nMinimum requirements are as follows; candidates will not be considered unless they are met:\nMinimum of two years of experience with a company providing hands on computer service. Help desk and “in school” experience does not count.\nAbility to configure personal computers, order parts and build systems, Virus removal and operating system repair/configurations.\nData Recovery experience.\nLaptop hardware experience including the ability to completely disassemble and reassemble a laptop computer.\nExperience setting up, configuring and troubleshooting business level networks – Hardware and Software. DNS, DHCP, Remote Access (VPN and Remote Desktop).\nExperience in diagnosing and repairing computer hardware and software problems with a company.\nExperience providing computer services at customer’s homes and at businesses.\nGood communications skills and attention to detail.\nKnowledge in Mac hardware and software.\nExperience with Server software installation, configuration and troubleshooting. Domain setup and maintenance.\nServer hardware installation, configuration and troubleshooting experience.\nAbility to terminate and test data cables – cat 5 and cat 6.\nExperience in various backup solutions and disaster recoveries.\nDuties Include; but not limited to:\nIdentify, diagnose and document hardware failure or software problems on a variety of computer or computer-related equipment\nRecommend components/configurations and assemble customized computer systems\nProvide timely, complete and accurate information directly to customers via face-to-face, telephone or email communication for estimate approval and customer unit repair\nAccomplish organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments\nConsistently achieve productivity, customer satisfaction and sales attachment goals of the service repair shop\nComplete assigned work orders (diagnostics, upgrades or builds) within established timeframes\nComplete all service system transactions accurately\nUnderstand and utilize technical manuals and support resources\nKeep up-to-date on retail products and current technologies and maintain appropriate technical certifications\nMaintain the department by ensuring a clean work area, tracking inventory, stocking and replenishing product and participating in merchandising activities\nParticipate in open and close procedures\nTechnicians will work at one of our two locations in Spokane, WA\nPerform other duties and tasks as assigned\nIf this sounds like your type of job, then we want to hear from you.
