Join our top-notch team of approximately 43,500 diverse and high-performing professionals globally who are making their mark on some of the world’s most beloved brands, including DEWALT®, BLACK+DECKER®, CRAFTSMAN®, STANLEY®, CUB CADET®, and HUSTLER®.\nThe Job: Implement and maintain site EHS management system plans, including ISO certifications, EHS RoadMap, and interfaces with regulatory compliance.\nProvide guidance and information to Supervisors and Managers regarding regulatory compliance as it relates to Employee Health and safety.\nAlso, provides training regarding all mandatory OSHA compliance, site emergency response team, new hire safety orientation, and other site-specific hazard awareness training.\nDevelop and implement programs designed to improve workplace health, focusing on ergonomics, safe behaviors, hazard identification, etc.\nEnsure compliance with state and federal safety/health regulations.\nLiaison (with corporate EHS support) with government agencies on regulatory issues.\nSteward annual EHS audits to support compliance certification; provide oversight of audit corrective actions, and reporting on audit results, as necessary.\nEnsure the site maintains current environmental, safety, and security data on the EHS website.\nAlso, maintains OSHA 300 logs and injury/illness metrics.\nDrive leading indicator initiatives such as near-miss reporting, behavior-based safety, and employee engagement activities.\nInvestigate safety incidents and provide Root Cause Analysis.\nMonitor changing and emerging safety standards and best practices, as well as implement programs and processes to address them.\nMaintain safety contingency programs for all fire, spill, and other emergency response processes.\nProvide leadership for physical site security to include third-party provider, C-TPAT requirement compliance, and investigation of security incidents.\nSupervise EHS employees and be responsible for their attendance, training, and development.\nThe Person: Bachelor’s Degree in Health & Safety or Environmental Sciences preferred.\n3-5 years’ experience in implementing EHS culture in a warehouse environment preferred.\nBroad knowledge of 29 CFR 1910 standards.\nStrong oral and written communication skills and ability to communicate will all levels within the organization.\nAnalytical skills and ability to gather and interpret complex sets of data.\nComputer proficiency including use of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and EHS Data Management system preferred.\nExcellent organizational and time management skills.\nPhysical Demands and Work Environment: Regularly required to stand, walk, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, and use hands. Required to lift and/or move 10 lbs. regularly and up to 50 lbs. occasionally. Occasionally exposed to extreme temperatures.\nThe Details: Salary range for this position is $86,000.00 - $138,500.00 (annual full‑time).
