Job Description Job Title: HVAC TechnicianLocation: Plymouth, MNShift / Hours: 8-5 / 40 hours a week (potential overtime)Pay: $ 25 - 30 HRJob SummaryWe are looking for a reliable, hardworking Facilities Technician to support day-to-day operations within an HVAC-focused environment. This is an entry-level, hands-on role designed to provide exposure to a wide range of tasks, including preventative maintenance, equipment troubleshooting, and assisting experienced HVAC technicians and skilled trades professionals. You will play a key role in maintaining and supporting heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems while gaining experience with both foundational and more advanced mechanical systems. This opportunity is intended to serve as a stepping stone into more complex HVAC service, maintenance, and systems-related responsibilities. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, takes pride in high-quality work, and is motivated to grow within the HVAC and skilled trades field.ResponsibilitiesPerform general building maintenance including painting, patching, cleaning, and minor repairsAssist with plumbing tasks such as unclogging drains, replacing fixtures, and addressing leaksSupport HVAC technicians with filter changes, equipment inspections, and routine upkeepRespond to internal work orders and resolve facility issues in a timely, professional mannerFollow all safety protocols on the job, including proper use of tools and equipmentBe available for on-call shifts that take place every 6 weeks and flexible scheduling as facility needs ariseExposure to boilers, Building Automation Systems (BAS), and other critical building infrastructureQualificationsCompletion of two-year HVAC degree from a reputable universityObtained the EPA 608 certificationIdeally some experience in building maintenance, facilities, construction trades, or a related hands-on fieldComfortable working with basic hand and power toolsDependable, punctual, and willing to roll up your sleeves on any taskAbility to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, or on-call as neededStrong work ethic and positive attitude — this team moves fast and takes pride in their workDisclaimer: Brooksource, Medasource, and Calculated Hire are part of the Eight Eleven Group family of companies and operate under Eight Eleven Group, LLC.
