Remote Software Engineer

Role: Software/Developer Operations EngineerWe at TEKsystems is partnering with our client and their Operations Support Squad to hire Remote Engineers (Must reside in Greater Seattle Area) to support, improve and maintain an existing data labeling system that enables offline experimentation, offline metric tracking, offline training data generation, content moderation, and content filtering. The OSS is a key system that they use to enable human raters to label predefined data efficiently that's used across different teams inside client.Day to Day Responsibilities Include:Monitoring system functionalityAd hoc supportBug fixingMonitoring and adding test cases to systemBuilding UI for ratersBuild data swarm pipelineswidget creationTime frame for completion: 12 month contract Likely to extendQualificationsExperience with operations such as debugging, fixing, monitoring and/or optimizing an existing systemExperience with middle tier development in a modern programming language such as a Python, Ruby, PHP, GoLang, etc. (must be open to learning PHP)Basic understanding of SQLExperience working with Stakeholders to gather and further qualify requirements.We reserve the right to pay above or below the posted wage based on factors unrelated to sex, race, or any other protected classification.
