Additional duties may be assigned based on the needs of the healthcare facility.\nActivities Assistant\nThe Residence at Oak grove, Thomasville Georgia's state-of-the-art assisted living & memory care community is currently looking for a full time Activities Assistant.\nResponsibilities:\nAssist in the planning, organizing, and implementation of activities for residents\nCoordinate and manage the activity schedule for residents\nProvide support and assistance to residents with activities.\nConduct individual and group activities to promote socialization and engagement\nAssist with the assessment and counseling of aging issues\nCollaborate with social workers to address the needs of residents\nExperience:\nPrevious experience working in a similar role preferred\nKnowledge of activity planning and scheduling\nFamiliarity with aging issues and counseling techniques\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills\nAbility to work effectively in a team environment\nNote: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
