{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"9dc8bbc69245bf9f80a03095","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/9dc8bbc69245bf9f80a03095","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/9dc8bbc69245bf9f80a03095","title":"Controller","description":"Job description:\nMarine Accessories Corporation DBA (Diamondback Marine), a division of Patrick Industries, is the parent company of several industry-leading brands in the recreational boating industry – We are looking to hire a plant controller to provide timely and accurate preparation, calculation, and reconciliation of our accounting department\nThis person will be assisting in day-to-day accounting processes including but not limited to Bank reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, balance sheet reconciliations, financial analysis, and the closing process.\nPrimary Responsibilities:\n· Prepare and analyze financial statements in QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop, Global Shop, and Expandable\n· Reconcile and prepare journal entries for monthly bank statement activity\n· Maintain accurate processes and procedures for all reports and tasks\n· Assist President and corporate team with various assignments and projects\n· Provide backup and prepare reports for internal audit team\n· Work closely with warehouse manager to maintain accurate inventory valuation\n· Assist with implementation of Avalara Sales Tax Software\n· Aide in Workforce Planning\n· Upload balance sheet reconciliations to Blackline\n· Aggregate, analyze and convert data sources on a regular basis for reporting, accounting journal entries, and tax related items\nMinimum Requirements:\n· Minimum 1-5 years of accounting/finance experience required\n· Strong attention to detail and accuracy.\n· Ability to multi-task and balance priorities to meet deadlines.\n· Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel.\n· Must possess strong written and verbal skills to effectively communicate.\n· Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting or Finance.\nPhysical Setting:\nOffice\nSchedule:\n8 hour shift\nMonday to Friday\nAbility to commute/relocate:\nCocoa, Florida 32926: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)\nExperience:\nAccounting: 2 years (Preferred)\nWork Location: In person\nWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
