The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating forklifts and other equipment to ensure the efficient movement of materials and products within the facility.\nSchedule and Pay\n1st Shift: Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, $15 per hour\n2nd Shift: Monday to Friday, 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM, $16.25 per hour (limited openings)\nKey Responsibilities\nOperate stand-up forklifts and pallet jacks to load and unload materials and products\nPerform order picking tasks using RF scanners to ensure accurate inventory management\nSafely handle heavy lifting and materials handling in compliance with OSHA regulations\nAssist in shipping and receiving processes, ensuring items are properly documented and stored\nMaintain a clean and organized work area while following safety protocols\nCollaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and improve efficiency\nConduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning\nSupport other warehouse functions as needed, including inventory control and stock replenishment\nRequirements\nProven experience in warehouse distribution or similar roles, with knowledge of warehouse management systems\nCertification in stand-up forklift operation preferred; experience with other heavy equipment is a plus\nFamiliarity with order picking, shipping and receiving, and materials handling processes\nMechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues\nAbility to perform heavy lifting consistently throughout the shift\nStrong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills\nMust be able to bend, push, pull, squat, and lift up to 40 pounds\nHigh school diploma or GED required (proof must be provided)\nPrevious experience as a warehouse supervisor is a plus but not required\nCommitment to safety practices and adherence to OSHA standards\nWhy Join Us\nAt Amer Technology Inc., we are proud to partner with Schneider Electric, a global leader in energy management and automation.
