Line Cook/Prep Cook

About us: Michaux Brewing Company is located in Waynesboro , PA. We offer 12 rotating taps of our own craft beer and strive to create high-quality beer and food for our customers. The line cook / prep cook will assist in creating the ultimate Michaux Brewing Company experience by preparing food for guests and assisting in keeping the kitchen clean and organized. This individual should be: hard-working, a team-player, goal-oriented, punctual and reliable, have a passion for food and (most importantly) BE AWESOME! Michaux Brew Co is dedicated to creating delicious craft beer and food in a fun, welcoming, laid-back environment. This individual MUST be available to work Thursday - Sunday day and evening shifts Job Duties include (but are not limited to): Prep for and prepare food based upon current menu Ensure food is safely, properly and consistently prepared and served in a timely manner Coordinate with Taproom staff & Kitchen staff to complete customer orders Maintain safe food-handling techniques and obtain/maintain food handling certification Follow all FDA and Department of Agriculture Health regulations Kitchen cleaning and maintenance of equipment Assist with cleanup, dishwashing, and other kitchen maintenance tasks as needed Assist with running food as needed Assist with marketing efforts & outside events as needed Job Type: Part-time Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour Benefits: Employee discount Flexible schedule Work Location: In person
