These positions will be supporting Operations from Houston, Midland, and Levelland, TX along with Denver and Platteville, CO with a minimum of 20 hours per week.\r\nResponsibilities\r\nCandidate will be responsible for compiling, confirming, and inputting data such as downhole well bore configurations, well servicing and artificial lift data for hundreds of wells with varying degrees of data completeness.\r\nCandidate may be given additional projects in these areas as needed.\r\nFunctions of this position may require travel to various Oxy corporate, business, and/or field locations, and may also require periods of remote work from the candidate's home-based office location.\r\nQualifications\r\nExcellent communication skills, both verbal and written\r\nMust be actively pursuing Associates, Bachelors or Masters degree\r\nMust be self-starter to work independently and in groups\r\nMust be able to perform some of the work during core business hours 8am - 4pm weekdays\r\nHighly motivated with lots of initiative\r\nAbility to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines\r\nStrong computer skills and ability to type by touch\r\nSkilled with MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)\r\nComfortable learning new computer software\r\nCandidate must be able to sit for long periods of time, lift at least 30 pounds over their head\r\nWhen working from home a high-speed home internet connection must be available and a cellphone which may be used for business purposes.\r\nRequired 3.0 GPA for 4-year programs & 2.5 GPA for 2-year programs.\r\nPay rate: $21 or $25\r\nAdditional Desired Skills\r\nOil & Gas industry terminology\r\nWell servicing experience/terminology\r\nStrong analytical skills for information or data processing.\r\nPossess at least a basic understanding of how databases are structured and function.\r\nMust be enrolled in college courses pursuing Bachelor's or Master's degree\r\nRecruitment Fraud\r\nIt has come to our attention various individuals and/or organizations are contacting people falsely pretending to recruit on behalf of Oxy.
