Infrastructure Engineer Location: New York, NY (Hybrid) Duration: Contract Industry: Financial Services GC/USC Job Description Our client is seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Engineer to support, maintain, and enhance a modern hybrid IT environment within a financial services organization. This role requires strong hands-on expertise across cloud, virtualization, networking, security, and end-user infrastructure, along with the ability to provide Level 2/3 support in a fast-paced, high-availability environment. The ideal candidate will be technically strong, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a regulated financial services setting. Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, implement, and support enterprise infrastructure solutions across on-premises and cloud environmentsAdminister and support Active Directory, Exchange, and Microsoft 365 (O365)Manage Azure full-stack infrastructure, including compute, networking, storage, and securitySupport and maintain VMware virtualized environmentsAdminister Intune for device and endpoint managementSupport and maintain Citrix environmentsConfigure, manage, and troubleshoot network security solutions, including Fortinet firewallsSupport Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) platformsDevelop and maintain automation solutions using PowerShell, Python, and other scripting toolsProvide Level 2/3 support, including after-hours and occasional weekend coverageCreate and maintain detailed technical documentation, procedures, and diagramsCollaborate with internal teams to ensure system reliability, security, and performanceEnsure compliance with security, regulatory, and operational standards typical of financial services Required Skills & QualificationsStrong hands-on experience across infrastructure, cloud, and networking technologiesExpertise in Azure, VMware, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365Experience with endpoint management (Intune) and CitrixSolid knowledge of network security, including Fortinet firewallsExperience with automation and scripting (PowerShell, Python)Ability to provide Level 2/3 operational supportExcellent documentation and communication skillsBachelor's degree or equivalent practical experienceProfessional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills Preferred QualificationsExperience working in the financial services industryFamiliarity with Cato Networks
