The Future We Build Together.\n\nUnder the responsibility of the Logistics Supervisor, the Material Handler I performs warehouse functions, which may include loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and, cycle counting.\n\nRequirements:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred\nOne (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred\nValid Forklift Operator's License certified\nStrong verbal and written communication skills\nAbility to work independently and as a member of a team\nAbility to be a team player and able to work within a diverse work environment\nAbility to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors)Able to work within a diverse work environment\nHighly thorough and dependable\nMust be punctual and have a good attendance record\nPerforms work independently with minimal supervision\nPossesses a high degree of initiative\nDemonstrates a high level of accuracy, even under pressure\nAbility to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs\nAbility to stand for long periods of time\nAbility to work using health and safety methods\nMust be available to work on a flexible schedule on the various work shifts\nDetail oriented with excellent follow-up practices\n\nImportant Note: Some positions require additional screening that may include employment and education verification; motor vehicle records check and a road test; and/or badging or background requirements of the customer to which you are assigned.\n\nResponsibilities:\nPerform warehouse function, which may include loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and, cycle counting\nPerforming duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract\nResponsible for the accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products and loading and unloading of trucks\nResponsible of dealing with day to day paperwork in a warehouse environment (i.e. picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.)\nProvide technical and maintenance support for different aspects related to the automated packing system during the core shift hour of production\nPerforming duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract\nPerforms other duties as assigned.\n\nRyder is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer and Drug Free workplace.
