CNC Machinist

Seeking a US Veteran, Guardsman, Reservist, and/or Military Spouse highly preferred for a CNC Machinist. The CNC Machinist will be responsible for machining and measuring components, maintaining machines, and ensuring all work meets quality standards while supporting cost-effective manufacturing operations. Pay: $32.00 - 46.00/hourSchedule: Monday - Thursday: 3:00 PM - 1:30 AMFridays: OFFEssential Duties and Accountabilities:Setup machines for production componentsMachine/fabricate standard and special componentsPerform continuous inspection of components while in processComplete secondary operations as requiredEnsure a clean and safe work environment while following all safety standardsComplete machinery maintenance and repairs as requiredMaintain stock of shop toolingRecord notations of necessary updates or changes to drawingsEnsure production schedules and ship dates are met consistentlyInform management of potential problems and assist in implementing solutionsSupervise and train employees when necessaryPerform other duties as assigned including attending meetings and trainingsRequirements:US Veteran, Guardsman, Reservist, and/or Military Spouse highly preferredHigh school diploma or equivalent3+ years of manufacturing experience or related trainingExperience with Microsoft Office, spreadsheets, and email communicationExperience with Mazak machines with live toolingMazatrol experience requiredKnowledge of conversational programmingMachine setup experience requiredAbility to read and interpret drawings and written instructionsStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsMust be able to lift and/or move up to 25 lbs
