The candidate will be responsible for developing and managing detailed 3D models of electrical systems for commercial projects using Revit and AutoCAD.\nEssential Duties & Responsibilities Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.\nDevelop and manage detailed 3D models of electrical systems for commercial projects using Revit and AutoCAD\nCoordinate with other trades (e.g., mechanical, plumbing, structural) to ensure proper integration of electrical systems using Navisworks for 3D coordination and clash detection\nAttend on-site and virtual coordination meetings with General Contractor and other trades\nCreate detailed installation drawings for all electrical system components including equipment, conduit, and supports\nCollaborate and communicate with team members to ensure project goals are met\nVerify that drawings and installations comply with applicable codes and specifications\nPerform electrical load calculations, ampacity adjustments, and voltage drop analysis to ensure reliability and compliance with codes\nConduct project site visits to gather necessary data for accurate drafting and documentation\nRegular, predictable, and reliable on-site attendance is an essential function of the job\nQualifications Minimum 5+ years of experience in a high-volume contractor design and drafting environment or a Bachelor’s in Construction Management or Engineering preferred\nProficient with Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, Microsoft Word and Excel\nExcellent attention to detail and accuracy in drafting\nAbility to interpret and translate construction drawings\nProven ability to design and draft basic electrical systems\nStrong organizational and communication skills\nAbility to work effectively both independently and as part of a team\n#forestny\n#LI-DL1\n#LI-Onsite\nWork Environment The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
